Department of History

Departmental Overview

Since the establishment of this college, the department of history has started its journey with Honours & Pass courses. Currently there are two sanctioned permanent posts for the department. The department practices modern teaching method along with the field survey for better understanding of the real history as well as historical evidences or facts. For the fulfillment of this objective the department regularly organizes an academic tour in each academic year for the students to visit the sites of historical importance and rich in important archeological artifacts. The department has a good number of books for NET/SET & other competitive examinations and there is a constant impetus from the behalf of the instructors for the enrichment of the knowledge of a student.
